Spring Wine Tasting: The Lightness of Wine in the Spirit of Spring!

Spring wine tastings will introduce you to all of those crazy terms that accompany the sensational natures of wine, but mostly those of the nose.

Why? Because Spring is the season of the olfactory, when the world is reproducing and you know it for sure with your nose.

A bit of coloration, a bit of analysis of the legs of wine, and then who knows it might be minutes before we taste it, just adoring all of the nose options. Here are some we’ll examine: cinnamon, vanilla, raspberry, blueberry, citrus, lemon, melon, boysenberry, chocolate, nutty, white chocolate, fruitcake, black cherries, black currants, toasty oak, peaches, oranges, pineapple, grapefruit. And don’t worry, we won’t skip fresh, tannin, acidic, big, barnyard and simple monikers like sweet and dry. We’ll give you a soup to nuts (BTW, ever seen the 1930’s eponymous feature with the fledgling Three Stooges?)

So join us each week and we’ll give a hint of the wines to be tasted beforehand.. Join our newsletter and stay up on spring wine tastings, workshops and events at Slack Farms.

If the weather has some rain in it, we’ll move indoors.
